Root Canal or Endodontic Treatment at Nuve Dental

At Nuve Dental, we know that dental pain can be overwhelming. That’s why, if there’s an infection inside the tooth, our goal is clear: eliminate the problem, relieve the pain, and save the tooth—all with less invasive techniques, more comfort, and no unnecessary discomfort.
When the root of the tooth is compromised due to deep decay, trauma, or infections, extraction is not always necessary. At Nuve, we perform root canal treatments with digital precision, modern tools, and an approach that minimizes discomfort.
From anesthesia to the final seal, we take care of every step to ensure a quick, pain-free recovery. Because we know that saving the tooth is not just about the tooth itself—it’s about giving you peace of mind.

Root Canal Q&A

It’s a procedure performed when the inside of the tooth (the pulp) becomes inflamed or infected. The interior is cleaned, the infection is removed, and the tooth is sealed to prevent further issues.

It can happen due to deep decay, trauma, fractures, or untreated infections. When this occurs, the pain not only worsens but there’s also a risk of losing the tooth.

Common signs include:

  • Intense pain when biting or chewing

  • Prolonged sensitivity to cold or heat

  • Inflamed gums or a "pimple" near the tooth

  • A dark or discolored tooth
Or sometimes, there may be no visible symptoms.

The process at Nuve is straightforward and hassle-free:

  • We numb the area so you won’t feel any pain

  • Clean the interior of the tooth with precise instruments

  • Seal the tooth to prevent future infection

  • If necessary, we place a crown to protect the tooth
This is usually done in one or two visits, depending on your case.

No. We use local anesthesia, and most patients tell us that they felt more relief than discomfort. The real pain is the one before the treatment, not the procedure itself.

You may feel some sensitivity for a few days, but this is temporary.
We’ll ask you to chew on the other side while the final restoration is placed, and we’ll follow up to make sure everything heals properly.
